It is only three weeks after our celebration of Easter and already the lectionary has moved on with the liturgical year. This Sunday, the 29th, we reflect upon the nature and characteristics of the Good Shepherd. We as followers of the spiritual path must consider that the God who is speaking to each of us cannot be limited to some formulaic construct of only certain messengers pre-approved by established church hierarchy.
